In this video we will walk you through how to charge your solar-powered patio shade if it has not received adequate sunlight.
In this video, we’ll walk you through the steps to charge your solar-powered patio shades. Charging your solar-powered patio shade is only necessary when the solar panel has not received enough sunlight. To get started, remove the bottom front end cap screw using a Phillips head screwdriver. Then, lift the bottom access flap and tilt it back to angle it out. Once you can see the battery, unplug both the solar panel and the motor from the battery. “Take the battery kit to your charging location. Plug the charger into a wall outlet, (pause) then connect it to the battery. Charging may take up to four hours. When the LED light on the charger turns green, your battery is fully charged. Unplug the charger, then reinstall the battery into your shade, reconnecting both the solar panel and motor. Secure the cables in the cable clips. Then reattach the end cap screw.” And that’s it.
